That beautiful mother over there taking care of her son with down syndrome

This man walking past me

A father and daughter at the park swings

A stone in memory of a daughter who was a shooting star only one arm away from me

The shadows of the architecture is a work of art itself

Numbers of birds flying playfully in the sunshine

A woman walking with a stroller

A young girl on a faraway bench

But we all have something in common

The happiness and sorrow that fills our souls

But I’m not even worried

This

This very moment

Won’t ever happen again in our lifetimes

That man will never walk past me once more

That girl will not be in the stroller anymore

All that remains is this stone

This plaque

In memory of a love that will always last

Of a beloved daughter who did not live past the age of two

But in our hearts she will

She will always be that little girl

Who will always be loved

Maybe I didn’t meet her

But love will find a way

I am here right now

Sitting next to her stone

Dreaming of the paradise she is in

And all the love and smiles that come from within
